Safety in the Laboratory Seminar and Technology-Based Discussion

Merck Millipore through its umbrella program for the health, safety and environment initiatives known as Safe Handling of All Reagents as an Environmental Support (SHARES), in cooperation with the CSM-Committee on Waste Disposal Management and the Chemistry Department will hold a 鈥淪afety in the Laboratory Seminar and Technology-Based Discussion鈥� on November 23, 2015 at 1:00-6:00 P.M. at the Institute Mini-Theatre. Registration is free and will cover the following relevant topics in relation to Safety in the Laboratory:

• Safe Working Area
• Working with Safety Tools
• Emergency Behavior and Fire Prevention
• Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials through GHS
• Basic Rules in the Laboratory
• Correct Chemical Storage
