Subject: Declaration of August 20, 2009 as Non-Working Holiday in Preparation for the First Day of Fasting and for the whole month of Holy Ramadhan

Pursuant to existing laws on Muslim Holidays and for purposes of giving ample time for the Muslim community to prepare for the beginning of Fasting during the Holy month of Ramadhan, and upon the recommendation of the King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies, August 20, 2009 (Thursday) is hereby declared a non-working holiday.
