The Samahang Pisika ng Visayas at Mindanao (SPVM) is an independent group of physics teachers, researchers, and students in the Southern Philippines founded on April 21, 1995. SPVM has been at the forefront among science communities in the country to continually improve the status of physics research and teaching through the active and sustained collaboration of its members. In 2014, SPVM started to widen its visibility by organizing international conferences where experts from renowned universities and research institutions have been invited during annual gatherings.

The 26 th SPVM National Physics Conference in conjunction with the 2024 International Conference on Advanced Functional Materials and Nanotechnology,2024 International Meeting on Complex Systems, 2024 International Conference on Particles and Radiation are organized by the SPVM, MSU-IIT and the University of Santo Tomas. The conference and scientific meetings will conduct plenary and sub-plenary talks, and poster presentations from invited speakers and participants all over the world.
