Project Title: Nutrient load optimization of hydrolysate liquor from coffee and cassava waste

Project Leader: Ralf Ruffel M. Abarca

Duration: 11 months (Feb-Dec)

Salary: Php 15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Acquire the agricultural waste specifically coffee and cassava waste needed for the study.
  • Perform laboratory experiments on the preparation of the biomass blends for hydrothermal carbonization and separation of hydrolysate liquor.
  • Perform laboratory experiments on the analysis of hydrolysate liquor.
  • Facilitate the design of experiment in the nutrient load optimization of hydrolysate liquor.
  • Perform statistical analysis for factor characterization, black box model building and numerical optimization.
  • Writing of quarterly assessment report, research manuscript for the technical report, and scientific paper for publication and presentation.
  • Facilitate in processing of project related documents.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Leader.
