Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Must be preferably a licensed Metallurgical Engineer or alternatively a Chemical Engineer.
• Experience in Mining and Metallurgical research projects or alternatively industrial experience in Mining and Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering industries.
• Possess strong leadership skills and good human relationships.
• Good project management skills.
• Strong research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Can work under pressure and minimum supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, monitor and control the process of the project to ensure successful delivery within project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop experiment and pilot plant design to meet the project objectives.
• Lead the project team and oversee the technical development process of the project.
• Troubleshoot technical problems.
• Prepare technical reports and present to DOST during project monitoring and meetings.
