Avatrian is looking for the following:

Note: Jobs require that the applicant resides within the immediate vicinity of Cebu City

Content Developer (part-time)

• Record, edit, and produce machinimas and traditional videos for internal and external projects. This includes setting up, filming and post-production of scenes in 3D virtual environments such as Second Life, OpenSim and BlueMars.
• Experience with Sony Vegas, Sound Forge and Fraps recording
• Creation of graphic images and textures for online and print using Adobe Photoshop CS2
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Must be able to articulate ideas and concepts properly.
• Manage the company鈥檚 WordPress blogs, write new articles about work activities/projects and share postings to various social networking sites
• Manage the company鈥檚 online accounts in YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo, Koin-Up, Technorati and others.
• Upload new content and write proper description/tags for each submission.
• The ideal candidate is a fast learner who is independent, works well with others and has initiative
• The company will provide training for the industry specific software applications that will be used on the job.
• Perform other tasks as needed by new and on-going projects
  

This position is for 20 hours of work per week and has a monthly salary of 6,000 PHP. Minimum commitment of 6 months as a condition for employment. After six months from starting date, employment status may be converted to full-time with benefits depending on performance.

OpenSim Administrator (full-time)

• Needs to be knowledgeable in html, css, php, MySQL and Apache/XAMPP
• Perform regular system, server and database backups
• Learn the installation, setup, customization and maintenance of OpenSim Server. OpenSim is an open source virtual world platform that is used for custom-made 3D online environments.
• Be able to learn and become familiar with the fundamentals of Second Life (Virtual Worlds, Avatars, free 3D chat, online meetings - Second Life Official Site) and OpenSim virtual world platforms.
• Has experiencing setting up a locally hosted website with connectivity to the Internet.
• Management the company鈥檚 domain and accounts hosted via an ISP.
• Experience with 1and1.com administration is a plus.
• Experience with troubleshooting basic router, local network and office broadband connections to the internet.
• Experience or formal training in an object-oriented programming language is a plus.
• The company will provide training for the industry specific software applications that will be used on the job.
• Perform other tasks as needed by new and on-going projects

Minimum commitment of 24 months as a condition for employment. This position is for 40 hours of work per week and has a monthly salary of 12,500 PHP. As a regular full-time employee, you are entitled to the following benefits:
