Contract Period: Immediate to December 15, 2010

Office Location: Andres Bonifacio Avenue, Tibanga, 9200 Iligan City, Philippines
Reports to: MSU-IIT IPDM/PeaceTech Inc.

We are looking for a committed individual to work as our Videoconference Assistant.  This position begins immediately and will continue until December 15, 2010.

The paid volunteer will work closely with our Videoconference Team on the MSU鈥擨IT--IPDM Classroom Videoconference Program.

In this program, we connect high school classrooms in Manila with classrooms in Iligan City through videoconferencing.  Our objective is to use videoconferencing to build understanding between young Filipinos throughout Metro Manila and Mindanao.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Understanding

• Good at setting up the following equipment for videoconferences
• LCD projectors
• Web Cameras
• Laptop Computers
• Mics
• Can trouble shoot at videoconferences if there are internet connection challenges

Willing and Able to Carry Equipment

• Candidate is physically fit and willing to carry videoconference equipment for the Program Coordinator to different venues throughout Iligan City

Other Office Responsibilities

• Candidate can perform basic office work if needed, including phone calling, documenting of activities and running of errands
