SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

General Description:

The Sr. Web developer develops web-based applications that will serve as workforce multiplier thus maximizing the full potential of every available human resource and provides the necessary trainings to the end-user to make sure that the software developed is being used efficiently. He also monitors the progress of all web-based software development projects and make sure that it meets the client’s requirements. This position, although a supervisory level does not necessarily require having a reporting team.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Engineering/ BS Math
• Minimum of 5 years experience on Web based applications development using LAMP technology, Minimum of 3 years experience on Agile software development methodology and Minimum of 1 year experience on handling a software development team
• Working knowledge on Web development process and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledgeable on various web-based control panel such as: cpanel, plesk, directadmin and hsphere
• Expert in PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, FTP and MySQL
• Expert on at least one PHP Framework preferably CakePHP
• Expert on at least one Javascript libraries preferably jQuery
• Knowledgeable on the following CMS and Blogging platform: Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal
• Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver or Eclipse IDE
• Excellent in English communication skills, both written and oral.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Develop detailed design specifications based on a given set of requirements
• Integration of Third – party libraries and APIs to the develop software
• Develop, debug, deploy and maintain in-house web-based applications
• Provides technical and usability training of the develop software to the users.
• Provide documentation on all software develop
• Oversee the progress, debugging and deployment of software development projects
• Constantly learn and stay up-to-date with new development tools and software engineering methodologies

• To keep the MIS office uncluttered and conducive for work.
