IT Analyst
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing a balanced IT project portfolio that meets
business objectives and align the strategic plans of both IT and the
business.
- Assist IT management, HR business stakeholders to develop and align a
3 year roadmap for the HR systems with the business’ strategy.
- Ensure that systems, solutions, services, processes are aligned.
- Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to build up trust,
increase collaboration, and IT presence in the eyes of the
stakeholders.
- Provide consultation to business to mature business ideas, or provide
expert recommendations to stimulate business needs.
- Work closely with outsource IT provider to ensure delivery of
services, solutions and resolutions of incidents, problems, etc within the
agreed timelines. Ensure SLAs are met.
- Ensure continuous improvements to the systems and processes through
proactive review and optimization initiatives with the business. Recommend
and implement major improvements that have significant benefit to IT or the
business.
- Deliver projects with clearly defined and measurable benefits to the
business. Deliver projects on time, in scope, and below budget.
Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Information Technology or other related discipline with at least 3 years of
hands on development on Oracle Peoplesoft HRMS or SAP HR/PY or .net, Java
experience
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate
them into application and operation requirements
- End to end Requirements Analysis, Design and Development
Experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact
professionally with all level of staff
- Project management skills
- Past working experience on the following development technologies,
tools, environment and skills will be an advantage:
- Graphical-based or GUI Form-based application development
using:Microsoft .Net Framework and Web-based technologies, .Net programming
languages –C# and Visual Basic, Web-based development technologies –
HTML, ASP .Net, JavaScript and XML, Microsoft Sharepoint.
- RDBMS Databases working knowledge
- Oracle database (Ver 10G,11G) and Microsoft SQL server
- Database data extraction and manipulation
- PS/SQL and SQL Language
- OOAD and Database design
