 Tate Publishing was formed after founders Richard & Rita Tate published their first book with a traditional, mainline royalty publishing company. They soon found that after investing many years of their lives into their work, it was no longer theirs. The rights were now the publisher's, and the majority of the royalties were going to the publisher. That's when Tate set out to redefine what a mainline royalty publisher should be. Remember, the most important step to get started is to submit your manuscript. In 2010, we accepted only a single-digit percentage of authors who submitted manuscripts for publication.

 As part of our expanding business projects and undertakings, we are currently looking for highly competent individuals to fill in our vacant position as:

APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Applications Developer will be part of the team that will revamp the organization’s IT structure. They will assist with troubleshooting, installation and implementation of systems. They are tasked to develop and monitor performance levels of software and hardware and evaluate, recommend, and propose alternative methods of information processing. Application developers often have the duty of creating, maintaining and implementing the source code that makes up the application or program. Application developers may also be responsible for designing the prototype application, indicate program unit structure, and coordinate application plans with the US IT. They also use programming languages and source code to create software.

Job requirements:

• Graduate of any of the following IT related degree programs: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar computer course.
• 1/2 years minimum total work experience in IT.
• Experience with computer programming is an advantage. 
• Must be knowledgeable in PHP - OOP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, API, SSH, A+, SECURITY+, LINUX+, NET+, CCENT+, CCNA, VMWare VCA, MCSE, Javascript and GIT (advanced experience is a plus)
• Past experience in Windows Server and Active Directory is a major plus.
• Linux and Mac Administration (including Apache, LDAP and Samba)
• Must be able to communicate effectively.

Must be willing to work in night shift. This is a full time night shift position.
