In light of the April 19, 2016 expiration of the term of office of Dr. Sukarno D. Tanggol, the Office of the Chancellor announces that he intends to seek a second successive term as Chancellor of MSU-IIT.

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Memorandum Order No. 16 Series of 2009, otherwise known as the Rules and Regulations Governing the Search for Presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Dr. Tanggol shall submit himself to an assessment of his performance by an Evaluation Committee to be constituted by the 猫咪AVBoard of Regents, without prejudice to the constitution of a Search Committee by the latter, upon its discretion, to also open the search to other interested applicants.

 Dr. Tanggol shall start the process immediately upon his return from Manila where he is presently completing the final stages of a one-month rehabilitative therapy program after he had an ischemic infarction that led to his brief hospitalization at the St. Luke’s Medical Center.
