Overview

The Security and Investigation Division transferred to a new office building and has purchased additional office equipment such as hand-held radios, among others. The office was tasked to oversee the security and the smooth flow of Institute activities like the Institute Commencement Exercises, the week-long Charter Day Celebration, as well as one of the City鈥檚 activities, the Miss Iligan Pageant, and others held at the Institute Gymnasium.

The SID conducted special trainings / symposium to Institute employees in areas of disaster management and risk reduction, water safety, rescue and life saving, fire and earthquake drills, anti-terrorist tactics bomb detection, personal safety, pedestrian and road safety, public relations, youth culture, human rights, legal proceedings and accountability, and weapon handling.

For its part, the Security and Investigation Division (SID), likewise continued its Linkages/ affiliations/ Collaborations with the Local Government Unit of Iligan, the Iligan City Police Office, the Bureau of Fire Protection-Iligan, and the Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
