The college was initially established in 2004 as an extension unit of the College of Health Sciences at the Mindanao State University Marawi Campus. Then, in November 2009, upon the recommendation of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and to comply with all requirements and conditions for establishing a College of Nursing as per BOR Resolution No. 46, S. 2005, the MSU-IIT College of Nursing was founded as a distinct entity from èßäAVMarawi's College of Health Sciences. Subsequently, in accordance with BOR Resolution No. 505, s. 2022, the college was renamed the College of Health Sciences.
As the newest addition to MSU-IIT, the College of Health Sciences has consistently excelled in the national Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE), consistently ranking among the top nursing schools in the country. Offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the college boasts highly skilled and dedicated faculty members, complemented by state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. These resources ensure that our students receive a high-quality education and are prepared with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the competitive field of nursing on a global scale.
