This milestone is particularly significant for the EM program, as it produced its second topnotcher, Engr. Gabriel Jose O. Collado, who ranked 4th with an impressive score of 88.95%. MSU-IIT as a whole secured 2nd place among the Top Performing Schools, boasting a remarkable passing rate of 95.12%. The recognition was formally accepted by the EM Faculty, Engr. Adrian Keith R. Caamiño, Engr. Seigfried D. Kempis, and Engr. Josep Russell S. Paez.
A total of sixty (60) successful examinees took their oath before Hon. Ramon N. Santos, Chairman of the Professional Regulatory Board of Mining Engineers, and Raquel R. Abrantes, Regional Director of the PRC Regional Office XI. The event was organized by the Mindanao Association of Mining Engineers (MAEM) International Incorporated led by its President, Engr. As highlighted during the recently concluded Academic Summit 2025, the EM program has consistently demonstrated excellence since its debut in the MELE in 2017. It topped the institute’s programs with the highest passing percentage of 98.36% up until 2020. Over the years, the program has maintained its strong performance, ranking 2nd in the institute’s overall engineering licensure rate with a passing percentage of 92.35%.
