CED partners with DepEd for 1st Annual Convergence

The College of Education (CED) and the Department of Education (DepEd)-Iligan held the Annual Convergence at MSU-IIT Gymnasium on October 7, 2024.
The event highlighted the strong collaboration between the two institutions in advancing education within the region in celebrating World Teachers Day.
Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan, in his inspirational message, emphasized the vital role DepEd plays in shaping the University’s future.
He noted that almost all of the takers of MSU-SASE (Scholarship and Admission System Examination) come from DepEd schools, underscoring the commendable efforts of basic education teachers in preparing students for higher learning.
As a proud product of DepEd, the Chancellor expressed his deep gratitude to the educators who have shaped him and continue to shape the youth.
He praised their dedication to providing a strong educational foundation, which has been instrumental in the success of many MSU-IIT students over the years.
The convergence served as a platform to discuss further collaborations, recognizing the ongoing commitment of DepEd Iligan and MSU-IIT of producing top-tier students and fostering academic excellence in the region.
