Dr. Neil M. Martin delivers plenary talk at PHINMA's 2025 Annual Research Colloquium

Dr. Neil M. Martin of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) was the keynote plenary speaker at the 2025 Philippine Investment Management (PHINMA) Cagayan de Oro College (COC) Annual Research and Innovation Days. The event, held from March 6-8, 2025, took place at the COC’s main campus auditorium in Cagayan de Oro City.

With the theme Transformative Potential of Research and Innovation in Education, the event was hosted by the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at COC. Dr. Martin delivered a lecture titled Academic Research Writing in the Health Lens, addressing students from various Allied Health programs.

PHINMA COC, a non-political and non-sectarian institution, offers a wide range of courses including criminology, education, arts and sciences, engineering, commerce, nursing, and vocational education. Established in 1948 as Parent Teacher College, the institution was acquired by PHINMA in 2005. Today, it is part of the PHINMA Education Network, which includes nine secondary and tertiary institutions across the Philippines. PHINMA, originally founded as an investment firm in 1956, is now a significant player in education.
