MSU-IIT recognized as top contributor by BIR in revenue collection

In acknowledgment of its fiscal responsibility, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) was recognized as the Top 2 Contributor in revenue collection under the National Government Agency category by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) District Office No. 101 in Iligan City.
The award was presented during a ceremony on February 26, 2025, at the Frosty Bites Event Hall in Bacayo, Iligan City, where MSU-IIT was given a plaque of appreciation. This award recognizes the university's prompt and efficient payment of taxes, which has significantly aided in achieving the collection goals for the district in the taxable year 2024.
Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan expressed his gratitude and pride in a Facebook post, stating, “We are deeply honored to receive recognition from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Revenue District of Iligan, for the University's outstanding contribution as the Top 2 (National Government Agency) in revenue contribution. This achievement underscores our commitment to supporting the nation's growth. As we celebrate this milestone, we reaffirm that taxes remain the lifeblood of our nation, fueling progress and development for all.”
